New Electronic Transcript Delivery Service
(HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA) - In response to the needs of today’s tech savvy students, Drake State Technical College has become one of the state’s first colleges to implement an electronic transcript delivery service. This service allows the college to send and receive transcripts electronically through a secure service called e-SCRIP-SAFE delivery network. Now when students transfer to a four year institution they may request transcripts be sent to their college of choice electronically, which is faster for the student and more cost effective for the college.
“To service the needs of our students in the most efficient manner possible, it is important to take full advantage of the latest technology. E-SCRIP SAFE allows members of our team to quickly and safely process student requests for official transcripts much faster while still maintaining the integrity of the documents. This also represents another in our Drake Goes Green Initiative,” says Monica Sudeall, Registrar for Drake State.
Students who wish to request a transcript from Drake State may do so through a web portal available on the college’s website. The recipient of the transcript will receive an email notification to retrieve the document from the e-SCRIP SAFE site. A school or college desiring to send transcripts using this system should sign-up through e-SCRIP SAFE.
