Welcome to the Official Site for Mr. & Ms. Drake State 2012-2013. Each year the college hosts the pageant as a way to recognize a male and female student who embodies the Drake State spirit.
The participants are invited to present a speech to the student body about their experience at the college and encouraged to campaign across campus. The student body will vote for their favorite male and female candidate which comprises 50% of the contestant's overall score.
The other 50% of the contestant's score will be comprised of the scores from the panel of judges on each contestant's talent, evening wear and public speaking ability. Mr. and Ms. Drake State will be crowned and reign for the 2012-2013 school year. The minimum qualifications are listed below:
1. Must provide an official transcript as proof of:
Minimum GPA - 2.5
Completion of 6 hours at Drake State
2. Submit a completed application packet by February 23, 2012.
3. Required attendance at candidate meeting on February 22, 2012 at 4pm in Cafetorium
The winners will be awarded scholarships in the following categories:

1st Runner Up (male & female)
2nd Runner Up (male & female)
Most Talented (male & female)
Mr. GQ
Ms. Congeniality
Most Photogenic (male & female)
